Viv’s recent post and the whole “OMG true fans can’t be critical!” thread of the Chris Cornell post just got me thinking how much I appreciate the good humored obsessiveness of a good number of NIN fans, who are devoted, yet also smartasses!
Here are people crazy enough to take time off of work to go on the NIN Google Earth Treasure Hunt for concert tix and signed free stuff. (Thanks for the link, Viv!) but will also laugh at Meathead's classic "Drunk at the Apple Store" cartoon. Because, well, we all know that probably went down.
Anyhoo, I really appreciate the crazy, snarky fun. It's always entertaining. Shine on, you crazy diamonds!
